Social Media Roundup: Gundy Politicking, Fayetteville PD and Okung Says He Can Play Corner

A few hours after last week’s Roundup posted, Mike Gundy remembered he had a Twitter account, and we were the beneficiaries – as was James Washington.

Neat things happened around the baseball and softball programs this week. They had their spring media day which you can recap on the blog here, here, here, and here.

Wishing Chris Lacy a happy belated birthday and best of luck with the draft!

Russell Okung, one of the greatest offensive tackles to ever step foot in Stillwater, thinks he could hold his own as a cornerback. Looks like he had a great time at the Pro Bowl.

Ateman took a note from Babe Ruth’s playbook and called his team’s victory in the Senior Bowl prior to kickoff. I’ll miss No. 3 bringing down every highly contested jump ball thrown his way, while wearing the orange and black. Here’s to a successful NFL career. ??

Even though OSU took a loss in Fayetteville last week, we’ll consider this a moral victory. So good I had to put it twice.

The Cowgirl basketball team is supporting a great cause, and wearing some sick threads while doing it! (Those shoes!!?) If you want to help them join in the fight follow this link.

Basketball

It wasn’t a great week for the Cowboys on the hardwood, but I would be doing this blog, you, and myself a disservice if I withheld these hellacious dunks from Mr. Cam McGriff.

The videos don’t even do it justice. This was the most vicious dunk I’ve seen in person.

The three facts of life.

Non-OSU Twitter Highlight of My Week

Alex Trabek is amazing. The people know nothing about football.
