โข Everything Mike Gundy had to say at his media availability yesterday – the depth chart for week three hasn’t really changed
โข Brett McMurphy has the Pokes in the Sugar Bowl against a watered-down SEC opponent (unless you’re Florida), 247 Sports has the Pokes in the Alamo against Oregon – and CBS has the Pokes outside their top-ten
โข This comment from Barry Hinson, OSU’s NIL Director is wild:
โIโm not worried about Oklahoma State keeping up with anybody in the current Big 12 or the new Big 12 or whatever conference we land,โ Hinson said. โSo far, I can tell you Iโm not worried. Iโm pretty happy with how people are responding to this, and weโre at the bottom of the mountain.ย
โWe havenโt even started to climb yet.โ

โข This is a pretty solid point – while I rue the day Oklahoma State wasn’t able to outbid Ohio State for a coordinator – this may be the more important reality:
In reality though, what we are missing from last year more than Knowles are four starting defensive backs and two starting linebackers that made NFL rosters. Outside of an uber-experienced defensive line and one safety, the entire defense is brand new starters. It may take half the year to get into form and even then itโs unlikely theyโll be a top ten defensive unit like the Cowboys had last season.ย

โข It’s fun to look at how OSU’s four stud defensive linemen impacted Saturday’s win
โข Looks like Teven Jenkins is hitting his stride playing on the inside with the Chicago Bears:
โข It’s the best thing to read positive reviews about visiting fans have a great trip to Stillwater:
โข Goodness gracious, Jaylen Warren wallops people.

โข LA Times‘ writers talked about the best Pac-12 college towns – could be helpful in the future for Big 12 fans ๐
โข InsideTexas’ Ian Boyd riffed on his relationship with Jonathan Tjarks – great faith-based thoughts and reflections on relationship
