Three Thoughts
โข Incredible stuff from Viktor Hovland as he’s tied for first at the PGA Championship (PGA.com)
โข Up and down day on the diamond – the Cowboys lost to OU, 5-0 in Norman but the Cowgirls trounced UMBC, 9-0 – a Big 12 title is still up for play between West Virginia, Texas, and OSU (Big12Sports.com)
โข Loved these three reasons to be optimistic about Cowboy Football this fall:
This is a solid football team, particularly if Alan Bowman can fill Spencer Sandersโ shoes at quarterback. Mike Gundy praised Bowmanโs quickness in picking up the offense this spring.
Defensively, Oklahoma State moving to more odd fronts could help play to the Cowboysโ personnel, and Gundy said it helped the offense to go against those looks in practice, too.
But the best reason to bet on the Cowboys might just be that Oklahoma State appears to have the most manageable Big 12 slate. That matters.

Two Quotes
โข Viktor Hovland on coming up short in majors:
โข This quote from Cowboy alum Denny Kellington (Buffalo Bills’ hero) to new OSU grads is terrific:
โI was ready because I dedicated my life to this sport, because I had the support of my friends, my peers and my mentors. They helped me be the person I am today. Without those who cared about my success, I would have never been ready.

One Question
โข Which would you rather happen – Cowboy Baseball win or Cowgirl Softball win a national title?
