Power Forward Yor Anei Commits to Oklahoma State
6-foot-10 power forward prospect Yor Anei made his college decision on Thursday night, firing up his Twitter to announce he’s Cowboy committed.
“First of all I would like to thank God for giving me the ability to play this game and to advance to play basketball at the next level,” he said on Twitter. “I also want to thank my family for always being there for me and supporting me through my ups and downs throughout my whole basketball career. I would also like to thank all the coaches and AAU teams that I’ve been able to play under over the last couple years.
“A big thank you to my guy Victor Williams and my mentor Aaron washington for pushing me to be the best basketball player and person I could be. And lastly I would like to thank Jennifer and Jerry Bishop for accepting me as part of their wonderful loving family. All of these people have helped me become the young man I am today. With all this being said I am excited to announce I am committing to play baskketball at Oklahoma State University.”

Anei is an under-the-radar find for Mike Boynton and his staff out of Overland Park, who emerged over the last month as a viable option for OSU’s 2018 class. The big man picked up an offer from OSU during an official visit over homecoming weekend and wasted little time with his decision.
“I love the coaching staff and it just feels like a family,” Anei told Rivals of his decision. “They showed lots of love and when I visited there, it felt like home. Coach (Mike) Boynton is going to put together something special there and I believe he and his staff can help me get to the next level.”
Anei is now the second hoops commitment for OSU in the last week, joining 6-foot-10 Florida power forward Duncan Demuth who made his decision last weekend.
