Cowgirl Hoops: McNeese Transfer Center Wilnie Joseph Commits to Oklahoma State

Jacie Hoyt added some height to the Cowgirls 2025-26 squad on Wednesday.
Wilnie Joseph, a 6-foot-5 McNeese transfer, announced her commitment to Oklahoma State. This past season was Joseph’s first with McNeese, and she averaged 3.8 points and 4.9 rebounds across 31 games.

Hailing from Greenwood, Indiana, Joseph started her college career at Labette Community College in Kansas. She played in 28 games in the 2022-23 season, averaging 2.2 points and 4.1 rebounds a contest. As a freshman in 2021-22, she averaged 1.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 14 games.
Joseph then transferred to Louisiana. She played in 38 games across two seasons with the Ragin’ Cajuns, where she averaged a point and 1.1 rebounds while playing about seven minutes a game.
She scored in double figures twice this past season for McNeese, including a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double against Houston Christian. Across her career, she is shooting 49% from the floor.
Joseph is the sixth portal addition the Cowgirls have made this offseason, joining Amari Whiting (BYU), Haleigh Timmer (South Dakota State), Tyla Heard (Oral Roberts), Achol Akot (UCF), Faith Acker (Tarleton State). OSU is also adding Nigerian center Favour Onoh, who played in the Philippines.
