OSU Bullets

• Last year, OSU’s offense was buoyed by superior wide receiver and running back play. Is it time for the offense to be held up by solid offensive line play and a third-year quarterback?

“I’m hoping for us to be a lot tougher up front,” (line coach Charlie) Dickey said. “I want to be more physical. I want us to be able to run the ball better. I want us to be able to protect better.

Cowgirl Golf “smashed” the Big 12 scoring record by eight strokes (!!) in the Big 12 Golf Tourney

• When you think about Woody Newton, the most recent addition to Cowboy Basketball, it might be right to think about the young man as a taller Ferron Flavors.

Newton didn’t get much playing time for the Orange last season, but when he did he shot nearly 40 percent from the 3-point line. That will be a useful tool for the Cowboys next season. Newton, theoretically, assumes the scholarship of Ferron Flavors Jr., who transferred to Robert Morris.

Man it’d be fun if the Pokes landed Jaxon Robinson or Bryce Thompson

• Positive comments about OSU’s committed senior QB? Yes, please. The guy lit it up at the Elite 11 camp.

OSU really does nice stuff with their gear – there are dozens of uglier outfitted teams we could all be cheering for
