OSU Bullets

• Breaking down the third quarter of the 2022 Cowboy Football season (PFB)

• Cowboy Baseball climbed to the top of this power ranking of Big 12 baseball teams, Bedlam lands as a top-two Big 12 rivalry (HCS)

• If you wondered why Mike Gundy received a pay bump to $7.5m per year – here’s why: between 2010 and 2019, in the Power Five, only Bill Snyder and Kansas State paid less per win (OSU paid $2.33m to K-State’s $2.27m). Return. On. Investment.

Gundy has been the one keeping the Cowboys winning consistently despite not having the resources Oklahoma and Texas have. And while no one would confuse Gundy with Snyder from a personality standpoint, there are similarities in the way they built their programs.

Like Snyder, Gundy knows exactly what he wants schematically and recruits to it. He’s also excellent at tweaking his offense to highlight the best attributes of the current players on the roster.

Marshall breaks down more of the article here if you’re interested. (PFB)

• Former Cowgirls head coach Jim Littell has found a landing spot back at his old stomping grounds

• Pretty cool move by an anonymous donor – matching all gifts up to $500k for Cowgirl athletes

• Watching 2023 Cowboy commit Parker Friedrichsen would be a terrific screensaver to watch while you’re on a work call at your desk – the guy missed in a minute and a half from what I saw.
