OSU Bullets

• A four-star big man with OSU as a finalist is set to make his final college decision today at 1pm CST – he’s noted a Kentucky lean

PFF has Spencer Sanders as the No. 35 QB in the FBS – behind the Georgia QB but before the Baylor QB

• The Pokes landed some pretty serious help for their weekend rotation yesterday from a West Coast ace, and it’s timely:

Rob Walton will have to rebuild his starting rotation after weekend starters Justin Campbell, Victor Mederos and Bryce Osmond all got taken in this year’s MLB Draft. Campbell and Mederos have since signed with their respective MLB teams. Osmond could still return to Oklahoma State should he choose to.

• Kind of interesting – a report is out that USC president blocked Pac-12 expansion last summer. It was rumored that Oklahoma State and Kansas State were headed to the Pac-12 but some speculation was that USC blocked it… Sounds like it was more than speculation.

• OSU’s 2023 football recruiting class is (way) back in the pack

Mason Rudolph is looking ok at training champ in Pittsburgh – here’s a quote from his offensive coordinator as well:

“Mason’s getting the second reps right now, almost equal to, maybe slightly less than Mitch (Trubisky). He’s being given a very fair shot,” (offensive coordinator Matt) Canada said, via ProFootballTalk. “To this point in camp, it might have been exactly equal. Mason has made a lot of plays at times, he’s played very well at times for us. He’s got a great shot at it. He’s being treated that way. His history with our plays, with our system, is a positive for him.”

• The shortsightedness of “happy wife, happy life’ (faith-based)

Teased my wife that this is a terrific representation of a stay-at-home mom:
