Gameday?
If you had to project ESPN’s College Gameday coming to Stillwater, which game would you guess? Probably not this likely candidate.
Week 4: TCU at Oklahoma State
Other options: Notre Dame at Michigan State, Penn State at Iowa, UCLA at Stanford
This “GameDay” trip to Stillwater relies on both teams surviving early road tests, as TCU plays at Arkansas in Week 2 and Oklahoma State will have played at Pitt the previous week. But this should be a game between undefeated Top 20 teams, including one in Oklahoma State that has the offensive firepower it needs to make the College Football Playoff. And anytime you have the opportunity to see Lee Corso fire off Pistol Pete’s guns, you take it. [Awful Announcing]
Bedlam is the day of LSU/Bama but at West Virginia has a shot too.
Look Out for Ogbah
Big things are expected from former Cowboy defender Emmanuel Ogbah in his sophomore season in the NFL.
Why Ogbah is important to 2017 >> The Browns are committed to switching to a 4-3 defense after spending three draft picks on the defensive line in May. They could not make that changeover if they didn’t have confidence Ogbah on the left side will be an excellent counterpart to what the coaches expect from Garrett on the other side.
The Browns gave up 36 touchdown passes last season. It is narrow-minded to think it was all the fault of the secondary. The pass rush has to improve, too, and Ogbah is a big part of that. [News-Herald]
Still bummed Ogbah didn’t land in Dallas a couple picks later but landing opposite a number one overall pick to wreak havoc on NFL quarterbacks is a pretty ideal situation.

OSU and NCAA Notes
OSU-South Alabama listed as one of the craziest road trips in CFB….Tyron may have left to quick (glad he did): converting DB’s to WR at LSU….Ashton Lampkin is taking some snaps with the first team in Kansas City….Lost one of Notre Dame’s legendary coaches recently (the one from “Rudy”)
With the leash on Sooner QB’s, can’t imagine how many “team rules” he broke.
#OU statement says freshman QB Chris Robison has been dismissed from team for violation of team rules

The Mullet is curling nicely.
Wouldn’t have guessed it but senior juco sounds reasonable.
One corner off to an impressive start and mentioned by Ramon Richards today: Malik Kearse. The senior played in one game last season.
