Daily Bullets (Mar. 30): Grad Transfer Announcing Today, Chuba’s Attractive Heisman Odds
Shakespeare was onto something when he said to “beware the Ides of March” – the 15th was four days after the Pokes win over Iowa State.
Bullets Rundown
• Boynton will get news about a grad transfer after lunch today
• OSU virus update
• Expert loves Chuba’s Heisman odds
OSU Bullets
• This is fun – a grad transfer the Pokes are after is making his decision today at 1pm. This CBB analyst has the Pokes as his favorite ???
Prediction for Ferron Flavers: Oklahoma State. Made 43.9% of his 212 three-point attempts at Cal Baptist last season. https://t.co/n4gs3sR0ob

• Sad to see – an OSU student has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. In other news, Marcus Smart has been cleared from the virus.
#okstate has confirmed an OSU-Stillwater student has tested positive for #COVID19. Officials are working with the student to follow strict self-quarantine protocol set by the @CDCgov and local health care providers.

• An expert better (handicapper) has taken a liking to the Heisman odds of Chuba Hubbard.
One surprise: Nagel loves the value on Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard (22-1) to become the first non-quarterback to win since Alabama running back Derrick Henry in 2015.
He notes that the explosive back quietly had one of the best rushing seasons in FBS history last year. His 2,094 yards rank No. 18 all-time for a single season. He rushed for at least 221 yards in four games and scored 21 touchdowns. [CBS Sports]
After not winning the Doak Walker or getting a Heisman-invite last year, apparently, somebody noticed that Chuba Hubbard is one heck of a ballplayer.

• Maybe the biggest takeaway: apparently only three Big 12 schools haven’t ever landed a five-star (Pokes are not on that shortlist)
Here's a look at the best @Big12Conference recruits since 2000.

• Congrats to Cowboy alum Garth Brooks on winning the Gershwin Prize from the Library of Congress
• Couldn’t agree more, Mike – could watch it over and over + put Eddie in.

• The Dallas Cowboys have spent themselves into a corner
This was hilarious – rugby broadcaster from the UK has started calling everyday life events to pass the time (enjoy the thread here), below is one of my faves.
