OSU Bullets
• Larry Reece has the right take on what Eddie specifically did for Oklahoma State that meant so much.
Then Sutton woke up the echoes. He didn’t so much fill up the seats at Gallagher-Iba as much as he filled up the spirits of those who sat in the orange chairs.
“I tell you what he brought back, he brought back pride,” said Reece, a student in Sutton’s first season, 1990-91, and now the Cowboys’ associate athletic director for fund-raising. “He brought back pride almost overnight.” [NewsOK]
I just remember feeling like “hey, OU’s got football but basketball is ours.” For a season, OU fans only had the comeback “…but football…” and it was glorious.
Eddie Sutton racked up 8⃣0⃣6⃣ wins and 3⃣ Final Fours, but his biggest accomplishment was restoring pride in Cowboy basketball.#LetsWork I #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/X4FIvIfEcw

• Three Eddie articles:
- Bill Clinton had kind remarks for his old friend
- Eddie’s five-best winning percentages at OSU
- Eddie’s legacy goes beyond basketball
• Good recruiting primer on three key needs for the 2021 OSU football class – color me excited for what receivers Kasey Dunn brings in
• Athlon has the Pokes No. 14 in his top-25
• Good news, bad news on the recruiting front – good news: this 6’5″, 340-pound tackle is committing on Wednesday (and has OSU on the shortlist) bad news: Mark Moore’s son committed to Washington on Sunday
• Chuba tweeted this weekend that he’s got a big announcement in a few weeks… then he posted “YLYC“.
If it was bad news (supplemental draft?) for his fans, I don’t think he’d comment weeks ahead of time creating a sense of dread.
YLYC…⏳?

Non-OSU Bullets
• The short lives of airport terminals (It’s May guys)
• The economy is tanking – why aren’t house prices dropping?
• Pretty nerdy but this concept of a low-touch economy was good
There was something endearing about this dog interrupting a weather broadcast:
