OSU Bullets
• As we continue to chew on the Bedlam game, I struggle to get past the idea of beating OU without two of their three best playmakers. But comments like this from a columnist covering OU tells another story about a different OU team than recent years.
If the Sooners’ defense falls, the Sooners’ offense can’t be counted on for a bailout. That’s what Mayfield and Murray provided the last two Bedlams, when Justice Hill rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns and Hubbard rushed for 103 yards and three.
No, this one’s on the OU D. And the OU D must focus on (Chuba) Hubbard. [TulsaWorld]
• As you dream about bowl plans, take a peek at this survey of all the sites as of this week.
Banner Society: OSU vs. Notre Dame in the Camping World Bowl
CBS Sports: OSU vs. Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl
McMurphy: OSU vs. Marshall in the Texas Bowl
ESPN 1: OSU vs. Notre Dame in the Camping World Bowl
ESPN 2: OSU vs. Notre Dame in the Camping World Bowl
247: OSU vs. Oregon in the Alamo Bowl [PFB]
The understanding that the Alamo is contingent on the Pokes losing Bedlam and the Alamo going OSU over Iowa State and Texas is pretty wild.
• Even if you weren’t a fan of either team in Bedlam, these two players are worth the price of admission.
Even though we have a couple of these electric players in our state — Tylan Wallace was a hold-your-breath talent, too, before the Cowboy receiver got hurt — there actually aren’t many of them in college football. I’m not talking about great players. There are lots of those in the sport. There are scores of young men who are talented and skilled and really good at what they do.
But when you start talking about electric players, the bar is raised. (Chuba) Hubbard and (Ceedee) Lamb aren’t just good; they can do something spectacular any time they touch the ball. They’re the home-run hitters. The knock-out punchers. The service-ace smashers. [NewsOK]
• In case you haven’t read it, you need to indulge in Marshall’s rewatching of the 1988 Bedlam – a phenomenal read
• Here are two great Cowboy Thanksgiving articles that came out: on Jelani Woods and his family and homecoming parade-crash survivor thriving
• Solid propaganda for Chuba’s Heisman campaign. The guys he’s already passed was staggering!

Non-OSU Bullets
• The first couple of paragraphs in this speech (“Enough”) was great food for thought
• This CFP nightmare scenario sounds awesome
• Ole Miss losing the Egg Bowl because of an obnoxious celebration is everything in a college football rivalry
It’s childish but I’ll watch anything (Cowboy alum) Trey Kennedy puts out:
