Beast Mode is Back

The Seattle Seahawks faithful are falling for Chris Carson.

Chris Carson, the man that didn’t have a chance with you, but kept surprising you and exceeding your expectations. Carson was drafted in the 7th round of the NFL draft and at the time, on paper, there was no way you’d think a late round pick could make a group with what the Seahawks thought could be the best RB group they had under the Pete Carroll era.

A big, strong back with a good frame who is nothing but explosive. You can’t watch his tape at the professional level and not see flashes. Carson is built like an NFL running back and it’s time to return to their running ways and showcase his skill-set. [HawkBlogger]

Can you blame them?

Best Bet

SportingNews thinks the Pokes at (-14) against Pitt is the smartest bet of the week (against the spread).

The Panthers did a good job of limiting Penn State’s opportunities in the first half, and they will test the Cowboys’ run defense. Mason Rudolph, however, will take advantage with big plays to James Washington, who averages a cool 30.4 yards per reception with three touchdowns.

Oklahoma State wins 42-24 and covers the spread [SportingNews]

Hard not to feel just a hair confident going into Saturday’s game.

OSU and NCAA Notes

Rudolph is No. 4 in this Heisman watch….Leach at Arkansas would be a riot….Pokes holding steady at second in ESPN’s power ranks….Catch up with Cowboy Baseballers in the pros….How cancelled games could affect postseason eligibility

Gameday for TCU would be awesome.

Rickie for parade marshall is fun.

We comin’ for you PAC 12.

Fingers crossed for Jawun to keep making good impressions in camp.
