Go West Young Man

A little dated but in a CBS mock draft, Rudolph goes high (second overall) to the 49ers for the right reasons.

There’s a great deal of Matt Ryan in the 6-foot-4 Rudolph, and (49ers head coach Kyle) Shanahan could prefer his pocket mastery and experience over the potential of Sam Darnold. [CBS Sports]

Rudolph gets rushed just as much as anybody and plays as well and consistently as anybody. Get outta here with Wyoming cats that can’t play against remotely significant competition.

All The Time

Last week, Pitt was able to hog the time of possession and somewhat stall a prolific Penn State offense… OSU watched some film and figured that out.

The Panthers did well in working the clock last week to slow down Penn State on the road until the Nittany Lions found the big plays n the second half, but Oklahoma State never allowed the Panthers to mimic that game plan with any success the entire game. [NBC Sports]

I don’t know if it was how quickly OSU scored – forcing Pitt to play catch up too quickly – or if the three yard per carry average the Pokes held them to.

OSU and NCAA Notes

Week Three results with an eye towards the CFB Playoff….SBNation talks through the rarity of OSU’s offensive dominance yesterday….Pitt’s Pat Narduzzi and the tough job ahead of him….Throwing to the fullback in the spread offense – loved that pass to Abbott in the flat yesterday

Who thinks we can get Bullet to do this?

That RPO Stoner took for 6o was slick play calling.

Rickie at the BMW Open – five back going into Sunday.

Cowgirls hanging tough on the coast.

The only interesting thing to happen the entire game.

Underrated tweet.
