Hauss Hejny to Enter Transfer Portal
What could have been?
Hauss Hejny might be one of the all-time “what could have been” players in Oklahoma State’s history.
Hejny announced Thursday in a social media post that he will enter the transfer portal when it opens on Friday.
“I want to thank Coach (Mike) Gundy for the opportunity to play for such an amazing program,” Henjy wrote. “To the coaches, training staff and a special thanks to Coach (Doug) Meacham and Coach (Kevin) Johns for their guidance and mentorship.
“Stillwater is a special place, and I want to make the time to let the fans and the community know how grateful I am for their support.”

Hejny played just three series as a Cowboy before a Jones fracture ended his season. He went 5-for-10 in those series for 96 passing yards and a touchdown while running for another 27 yards and a score.
Hejny transferred from TCU, where he took a redshirt in 2024.
This news comes after Robert Allen reported earlier this week that North Texas quarterback Drew Mestemaker has agreed to terms with OSU.
OSU has three commitments from 2026 quarterbacks after picking up a pledge from lefty Hunter Trusler on New Year’s Eve. Trusler joins Broderick Vehrs and Luke Lepas as high school QB commits.
Hejny is the fourth portal defection from OSU’s quarterback room, exiting along with Zane Flores, Banks Bowen and Mason Schubert. It’s a full position reset for OSU heading into 2026.
