Hit Play: OSU-Texas Had a Couple Reel-Worthy Plays

Published

on

Believe it or not there were a couple of reel-worthy plays during the Austin slug-fest on Saturday. I combed through the ugliness to find what I thought were the four best highlights from Oklahoma State’s win over Texas. Vote for your favorite below.

Again, the top play each week — as decided by you — will make it to a pre-bowl playoff where you will then be able to decide the best play of the year.

Trey Carter’s 34-yard Sack of Sam Ehlinger

Carter just blows through the B gap and gets Ehlinger running backward. He’s able to wrap up the freshman and cause a fumble. If only Brailford would have just fallen on that thing instead of going for for six.

Moss-Ell’s One-Handed Catch on the Sideline

Marcell has been having a great year which is reflected by the numbers he’s put up and the fact that he always seems to turn up on these lists. How about this SportsCenter-worthy one-hander to convert third down No. 1,000 on the year.

Ramon’s Game-Winning Pick

Ramon said the he knew the interception was coming all game and he still snagged the game-winner — even though he knew that meant he was on the hook for a cereal bar on campus. He always seems to be in the right place and the right time and it couldn’t have ended on a better note for the senior and the Cowboys defense.

Jordan Brailford’s Sack of Ehlinger

My biggest question heading into this game was whether or not OSU’s defense could contain the dual-threat QB who rushed for over 100 yards in each of the previous two weeks. OSU’s front seven was up to the task and no one on the defense had a better game than Brailford. Here he beats sophomore O-tackle Denzel Okafor and is just too quick for Ehlinger to escape from.
