Oklahoma State Offers 2020 Oklahoma Commit Drew Sanders
Oklahoma State’s priority on the recruiting trail this week has been centered around the future of the quarterback position.
After extending an offer this week to 2020 QB prospect Jack Miller, a blue-chip recruit from Arizona, the staff extended another offer to rising four-star 2020 gunslinger Drew Sanders, a former Lake Dallas standout who now plays for Colleyville Heritage High in Colleyville, Texas.
Sanders is the second QB offer for OSU in the 2020 class, and is currently committed to the Oklahoma Sooners. However according to Eddie Radosevich, Sanders is committed to OU to play TE or DE.
Which means the OSU offer could be either at QB or potentially as a LB/DE/TE.
Similar to Miller, Sanders is far from a hidden gem. Both have double digit offer sheets already, despite being just sophomores in high school. Sanders made a surprising decision to commit to OU back in November, and has stayed steady with his pledge ever since.
In addition to OU and OSU offers, Sanders also has opportunities from Texas A&M, Oregon, TCU, Georgia and others. And while it looks like he’s locked in with the Sooners right now, it doesn’t appear potential suitors will slow in their pursuit for a prospect that will emerge as one of the best athletes in the 2020 class.
