OSU Baseball: Cowboys Land Washington Pitcher Noah Kenney and Texas Tech Transfer Will Jordan
The Pokes landed a pair of Power Four pitchers on Friday.
Josh Holliday continues to bolster his pitching staff through the portal.
Former Washington Pitcher Noah Kenney and former Texas Tech pitcher Will Jordan both announced their intentions to transfer to Oklahoma State on Friday.
Noah Kenney
In his one year at Washington, Kenney accomplished a lot.
The 6-foot-2 right-hander was included on the watch list for the College Baseball Foundation Pitcher of the Year Award in 2026. He led the Huskies in innings pitched (74.2), strikeouts (83) and starts, starting 12 of his 13 appearances. He turned in a 4.74 ERA and was 4-7 on the season. Those 83 strikeouts ranked 10 in the Big Ten last season.
Before his time at Washington, Kenney spent two years at Folsom Lake College. He didn’t see any action as a freshman but as a sophomore in 2025, he made nine starts and went 6-2 and earned a 2.44 ERA. That season he averaged 10.1 strikeouts per nine innings.
I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 1 year of eligibility. Very grateful for UW and the opportunity.

Will Jordan
The 6-foot-6 right-handed pitcher hails from Weatherford, Texas originally. He made 12 appearances as a sophomore before his 2026 season ended due to injury. In those appearances he went 2-1 with a save and struck out 15 batters in just 12 2/3 innings. He logged a 4.97 ERA and held opposing batters to .264 batting percentage.
Jordan also comes to the Cowboys with two years of eligibility remaining. He announced he was entering the transfer portal on June 14.
Thank you Texas tech for an awesome two years. I will be entering the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility left.

This makes for five pitchers that the Pokes have nabbed from the portal this offseason. OSU has to some arm talent to replace with Mario Pesca and Brennan Phillips both having exhausted their eligibility. Those other incoming pitchers include D-II transfer lefty Ben Leikam, Wake Forest right hander Tyler Wood and Utah transfer Kaden Soder.
