Along with a stud quarterback, a stud running back and many others, Eric Morris is bringing some huge offensive linemen with him to Stillwater.

Desmond Magiya has committed to Oklahoma State, according to CBS Sports’ Chris Hummer. And Braydon Nelson has also pledged to be a Poke, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The Cowboys are just about starting anew on the offensive front under OL coach Cody Crill, who was also at North Texas last season. Jakobe Sanders is the only regular contributor to OSU’s offensive line last season who is still on the roster.

There’s a lot happening quickly on the commitment front, but we’ll call Dickson officially the sixth North Texas player to commit to Oklahoma State by way of North Texas, and Nelson is the seventh. They join quarterback Drew Mestemaker, running back Caleb Hawkins, receiver Miles Coleman, safety Quinton Hammonds and long snagger Caden Yates.

Magiya

Listed at 6-foot-5, 329 pounds, Magiya played in all of UNT’s games this past season and made three starts at left tackle. He didn’t give up a sack in 182 opportunities, per PFF.

Magiya joined the Mean Green as part of its 2023 recruiting class. He played in two games as a true freshman while maintaining his redshirt.

He appeared in eight games in 2024, primarily playing special teams before picking up more offensive responsibilities this past season.

Magiya was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class, with the 247Sports Composite ranking listing him as the No. 154 offensive tackle in the cycle. Out of McKinney, Texas, he chose UNT over an offer from Incarnate Word.

Nelson

Nelson played the second-most snaps of any Mean Green player in 2025, starting all 14 of North Texas’ games while playing both tackle spots. And he was only a true sophomore.

Nelson made 11 starts on UNT’s O-line as a true freshman in 2024 and was named to PFF’s All-Freshman team.

In just two seasons at the college level, Nelson already has 1,836 offensive snaps under his belt.

247Sports considers Nelson the No. 466 player in the transfer portal, and the No. 28 offensive tackle available.

Out of Kilgore, Texas, Nelson was a three-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class and chose UNT over offers from Texas State and others.
