• Most Viewed of the Week (No. 1): What Rashad Owens’ Commitment Means

The Good Lord makes a lot of 5’11” to 6’1″ athletic skill position players each year but OSU didn’t have many in this class. Bixby’s Brennan Presley and Owens are both strong playmaking talents that look like they know what to do with the ball and their hands – and that’s their supreme value (on the field).

• Most Viewed of the Week (No. 2): Former OSU Recruit (and Current Arkansas Hog) Collin Clay Seeking Transfer

Make sure and add Clay to your Christmas list folks. Adding a talented, experienced defensive end, an Israel Antwine on the edges, would round off the line and make up for losing Michael Scott.

I can’t remember the last time this kind of move happened (U of A -> OSU) – Calvin Barnett? He went to a juco between the two. These are the kinds of guys you need to keep at home. If somehow Oklahoma doesn’t want to offer a local four-star, OSU needs to be waiting to swoop.

• Most Viewed of the Week (No. 3): OSU Lands Quarterback/Pitcher for the 2020 Class

A second quarterback! How many players did you compare this guy to in your mind (Matt Holliday?) before you thought of Brandon Weeden?

Exaggeration aside, it’s always good to have a quarterback in each class and OSU now has two for the 2020 class.

• Most Viewed of the Week (No. 4): 2020 Signees Submit Their Letters

A drama-free class dropped in most ever letter by noon. To my knowledge, Jabbar Muhammad is the only verbally committed but unsigned player on the list currently.

• Most Viewed of the Week (No. 5): Chuba’s Not Playing in the Bowl Game, Right?

Given the wonderful reality that Chuba has since announced that he will play in the bowl game, it just goes to show how unpredictable college athletes can be.

This brings up an interesting point – OSU has had a good share of wild cards. Justin Blackmon and Brandon Weeden came back for bonus years, as did Mason Rudolph and James Washington. Marcus Smart and LeBryan Nash did as well. Josh Stewart surprised us and left early. Joseph Randle left early and it wasn’t surprising.

All of that to say it’s almost rational to not project the realistic end game with these OSU guys. Call it loyalty, call it unpredictability, but these OSU guys have been tough to predict.
