OSU Bullets
• Greg Robertson coming for my job with this excellent summary of OSU sports this weekend:
• OSU landed their second 2023 commitment from a Louisiana guy who picked the Pokes over LSU (!) and Arkansas
• The Pokes climbed to No. 7 in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll
• Sometimes it’s best to look at things from an opponent’s point of view. And if you’re looking at last weekend from a Tech fan lens, there’s a silver lining.
A week ago, I thought (Texas Tech quarterback) Donovan Smith was going to put up a fight against Oklahoma State and instead, he was shut down from the first snap. Smith struggled and was sacked five times as the offense had just 108 total yards.
Maybe I am being a little harsh on Texas Tech because Oklahoma State has the best defense in the entire country.

• Real bummer that Gameday won’t be coming to Stillwater for a SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEKEND covering Ohio State games:
• Who should be next in the OSU ring of honor?
• Cowboy alum Talor Gooch took home his first PGA Tour win over the weekend – and a cool $1.29M for his trouble
• ICYMI: Pokes are Arlington bound, no matter what happens this weekend. Who will OSU play in Arlington?

• Fun(ny) thoughts on Thanksgiving
Liked this Thanksgiving-themed take:
“When in doubt, just say thank you. There is no downside. Are you honestly worried about showing too much gratitude to the people in your life?”
