โ€ข Fun to see who Brock Martin and Brenna Presley recommend as OSU’s new rivals once OU leaves the league:

A terrific query to Martin and Presley on Wednesday: Whoโ€™d replace OU as your rival?

Presley took a deep breath, said: โ€œThatโ€™s a good question,โ€ and settled on Iowa State.

Martin fluttered his lips and said: โ€œWhew โ€ฆ Baylor? Tech? Tech has always, for some reason, given us hell. Kansas State?โ€

โ€ข Pretty much wherever you look, the Pokes are perceived as a Big 12 title contender this fall… It’s hard to argue with these numbers:

Outside of their in-state neighbors, Oklahoma State is the safest annual bet to be in the Big 12 mix. While the Cowboys havenโ€™t won a conference title since 2011, theyโ€™ve finished fourth or better in the final standings nine of the last 10 years. Little projects to change in that regard this year.
