• OSU dropped out of the top ten in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll

The ideal scenario would be for Oklahoma State and TCU to meet again in the Big 12 title game — a realistic scenario — to give the Cowboys a second chance to impress the committee when it matters most.

• Spencer Sanders predicted a rematch with the Frogs in Arlington

• After leading for most of the tournament, hated to see Rickie Fowler lose in Japan yesterday

• It feels a bit like the lazy take to chalk this all up to Mike Gundy’s conservative tendencies but this summarized Saturday well:

Oklahoma State went from trying to win the game in the first half to trying not to lose the game in the second half.

The TCU defense (via familiarity with the Pokes from the defensive coordinator’s time at Tulsa) had lots of familiarity with the Pokes – the Frogs made some terrific adjustments defensively, Gundy wins a lot of games using his special teamers kicking field goals or punting on fourth down – chalk this up to taking the good with the bad.

• Loved all the orange in Fort Worth last weekend:

• If this tells us anything, the Pokes should be fine at home this weekend, right?
