โข Cards on the table, I lean towards Alan Bowman as the answer. Here’s why: depth of target.
Senior quarterback Alan Bowman has pushed the ball deeper down the field in each game. Bowmanโs average depth of target started at 6.1 yards in OSUโs opener against Central Arkansas and has slowly increased.
He finished 23-of-48 for 279 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Saturdayโs 11.8 average depth of target was the deepest of any OSU quarterback this season.

โข This won’t surprise you but the Cowboys’ blocking isn’t good according to PFF:
Still, OSUโs pass protection could use some work. According to Pro Football Focus, OSUโs pass blocking ranks 96th in Division I football, sandwiched between Michigan State (2-2) and Louisiana Tech (2-3).
On the other side, run blocking ranks 95th in the country.
