Oklahoma State Offers 2027 Receiver, JUCO Tackle

Things have been relatively quiet for the Cowboys on the recruiting trail of late, but the Oklahoma State staff has rolled out a few offers over recent days.

One of those offers went to a Class of 2027 receiver who is currently committed to Tulane, and another went to an offensive tackle at NEO who is pledged to another Big 12 school. Here’s a little bit on each guy.

Ray’Quan Williams

Williams is the No. 917 player in the 2027 recruiting class, per the Rivals Industry ranking, which also tabs him as the No. 123 receiver in the class and the No. 26 player from the state of Louisiana.

Listed at 6-feet, 170 pounds, Williams committed to Tulane last month. He had built up quite the impressive offer list over the past few years, with Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, LSU, Florida and others extending offers.

He plays at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, where he caught 31 passes for 647 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior last season, according to MaxPreps. He also had a 26-yard touchdown pass.

Jack Clayborne

Clayborne is a behemoth at 6-foot-7, 330 pounds.

He, too, is already committed to a Division-I program, pledging to Kansas State in April. Along with offers to OSU and K-State, Clayborne has also announced an offer to Arkansas.

247Sports lists Clayborne as a three-star prospect, with the 247Sports Composite ranking tabbing him as the No. 6 player in junior college football.

Clayborne is initially from Wisconsin by way of Madison East High School.

He played at right tackle for the Norsemen last season.

OSU’s 2027 Class

The Cowboys have 10 pledges in their 2027 class as of writing.

Two of those players are receivers in Pryor’s Cooper Hooker and Argyle, Texas standout Ake O’Neal.

The Pokes also have two offensive linemen committed in Sonny Mullen (Troy, Texas) and Jake Baker (Nashville).

The Cowboys’ class is technically last in the Big 12, but some of that has to do with the fact that they have at least two fewer commits than anyone else in the conference (Kansas State has 27, for reference). In terms of average prospect rating (247Sports), OSU’s class is tied with West Virginia and Utah for eighth in the league.
