Daily Bullets (Dec. 11): Wrestling Pokes Beat Sooners in Norman, Tylan Wallace Wins Game for the Ravens

Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
MBB: Cowboys 72, Tulsa 57 Wrestling: Cowboys 28, Sooners 9 (18th-straight win for the Pokes)
OSU Bullets
Great Sunday for the Pokes: Cowboy Wrestling took their 18th straight win from the Sooners and Mike Boynton’s squad got back in the win column with a win over Tulsa • Tylan Wallace had the game-winning punt return for the Ravens yesterday – Justice Hill had the last block to clinch it (PFB) • Cowboy tackle Jake Springfield announced he’s coming back for another year (PFB) • Loved Jenni Carlson’s two points here, the optimistic and frustrated takes on Cowboy Football:
Best reason to feel good about OSU: The Cowboys were able to rally in a major way after a truly awful start to the season. That OSU played for a Big 12 title is a credit to the players, the coaching, the culture, the schemes, the belief. We saw evidence that some really good people and systems are in place in Stillwater. Best reason to pack it in on the Cowboys: What took the coaches so long to figure out things? If they’d started the season with Bowman as the quarterback and Gordon as the feature back, this team may have won 10 games during the regular season. [Sellout Crowd]
OSU’s 2024 quarterback recruit had a tough time in the California state title game against a state powerhouse (MaxPreps) • Cowboys offered another Utah Tech defensive lineman – same school as Justin Kirkland (PFB) • Pokes are low on the list of transfers at this point in the calendar:
Non-OSU Bullets
• Pretty solid gift guide list • Couple of heartwarming stories – a UPS driver in Connecticut and a toddler develop a friendship, Tulane students are 3D printing wheelchairs for kids with disabilities Incredible trolling from Army cadets this weekend:
