Three Thoughts

• This is the harsh reality for the Cowboy Basketball team:

The Cowboys have improved and they have the most talented player in the conference, but is that enough?

[NewsOK]

• This didn’t surprise at all – OSU and Kansas State both exceed their recruiting position in Big 12 football by multiple spots yearly.

The only anomalies are Oklahoma State and Kansas State. In both cases, the programs outperform their recruiting rankings by three spots.

[HCS]

• Mike Boynton’s squad is in a pickle with a struggling three point-game (both offensively and defensively) – chuckled at his comment on the Oakland game when he noted they should have let them into the lane for free layups

Two Quotes

• Cowboy forward Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe summarizes what he learned in 2020, wise beyond his years.

“Biggest takeaway 10 years from now, I’d take away from this year will probably be just value the things that mean something to you, value family, value your close friends,” Moncrieffe said. “I got great coaches around me, so just value the people that really mean something to you and don’t value, you know, the stuff that doesn’t mean a lot. That will probably be the biggest thing I take away.”

[PFB]

• Happy 2021 from OSU Athletics

One Question

• I love “would you rathers” – would you rather see OSU in a Final Four of football (CFP) or basketball?

Most Viewed of the Week

• No. 1: Ten thoughts on the bowl win over Miami

• No. 2: List of opt-outs for the Cheez-It Bowl

• No. 3: What the OSU players received ahead of the bowl game

Non-OSU Bullets

• New Years’ resolution content just flowing – being proactive over reactive
• Couple of faith-based ones – best way to start a new year (free and clear) and questions for goal setting
• Really excited to use this calendar this year from one of my favorite authors (Shoutout to mother-in-law Bullets for the great birthday gift!)

Ain’t it the truth.
