Three Thoughts

• This was pretty interesting – Bill Simmons mentioned he’s concerned about Cade’s draft stock: concerned he won’t be a top-five player at his position during his career. Noted he would trade down to No. 2 and take Evan Mobley. Hadn’t heard that take.

One take I loved: comparing Cade Cunningham to Jayson Tatum (The Athletic $$$)

• Bad news: Cowboy o-line target headed to Big Ten country
Good news: Pokes are in the running for a five-star center for 2022

• The offensive line situation for OSU last fall was an absolute mess – should the line play progress, it’s reasonable to assume that impacts the offense favorably.

Just an unfortunate set of circumstances that no one could have seen coming. OSU returns all their starters on the O-Line except Jenkins, so I have confidence that, barring injuries, the Cowboys will be better on the offensive line in 2021.

Two Quotes

• Berry T. has the Pokes fourth in the Big 12 but has the Longhorns behind them and the Horned Frogs ahead.

Veteran defense, veteran quarterback, veteran offensive line. But does OSU have the playmakers to which it’s accustomed? And can the Cowboys beat TCU – the Frogs have won three of the last four in the series.

• Good stuff here – the 400m champ in Texas 6A sports is headed to Stillwater

One Question

• This was funny – if you could go to Las Vegas with three college football coaches, who would they be?

This guy included Gundy in quite a trio:

Most Viewed of the Week

• No. 1 Five-star tackle Kelvin Banks moved up his commitment date (and committed to Oregon)

• No. 2 Penn State transfer is coming to wrestle in Stillwater

• No. 3 A local guard with a Cowboy offer landed his fifth-star

• No. 4 Previewing the running back room for 2021

• No. 5 Pokes land a commitment from a DFW cornerback

Non-OSU Bullets

• How to ask better questions
• Heard good things about this podcast on crypto/other topics of the Tim Ferriss Show

“Three steps to exceptional results:
1) Do less. Stop dividing your attention.
2) Do it right now. Once you have identified the essential, go fast. Maintain a bias toward action.
3) Do it the right way. Acting quickly doesn’t mean acting carelessly. Get to work right away, but keep working on it until it’s right.”
