• Fun to see who Brock Martin and Brenna Presley recommend as OSU’s new rivals once OU leaves the league:
A terrific query to Martin and Presley on Wednesday: Who’d replace OU as your rival?
Presley took a deep breath, said: “That’s a good question,” and settled on Iowa State.
Martin fluttered his lips and said: “Whew … Baylor? Tech? Tech has always, for some reason, given us hell. Kansas State?”

• Mike Gundy notes that ‘Bedlam is history’ but gives reasons why he’s buying Oklahoma State’s future
• Pretty much wherever you look, the Pokes are perceived as a Big 12 title contender this fall… It’s hard to argue with these numbers:
Outside of their in-state neighbors, Oklahoma State is the safest annual bet to be in the Big 12 mix. While the Cowboys haven’t won a conference title since 2011, they’ve finished fourth or better in the final standings nine of the last 10 years. Little projects to change in that regard this year.

Brock Martin put it well in his comments at media day when he shared something to the effect of “we just usually find a way to be in the mix”
