Three Thoughts

• It sounds like there will be an announcement today about a new 2022 commitment for Cowboy Football – I’d put my money on this guy.

• Marshall nailed it with these five summer storylines for OSU sports – I’m most interested in Boynton’s big-game hunting

• ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Mike Boynton’s Pokes as a No. 10 seed next March

On average, those teams finished around fifth place in their league last year (between sixth and eighth in bigger leagues) and that sounds about right for the Pokes this winter.

Two Quotes

• This was encouraging to see – Seth notes that Cowboy Wrestling is renovating their “practice and locker room” this summer

• Athlon Sports is projecting the Pokes to finish No. 28 in the country – code for “OSU’s headed for a mediocre season. Mike Gundy’s response:

One Question

• I’ll rob this from the PFB Twitter account – favorite OSU sports memory over the last decade?

That Marcus Smart-win at the Phog sticks out. I just love being pleasantly surprised with a monster-win. Cade over Baylor had shades of this.

Most Viewed of the Week

• No. 3 Pokes landed an in-state defensive lineman for 2022

• No. 4 Nick Piccininni won his first MMA debut

• No. 5 Gundy saddled up for another $1M paycut
