• Kickoff details have been released for OSU’s (America’s Greatest) Homecoming game against Kansas

• A couple of Pokes were named Big 12 players of the week for their play in Austin – you could guess who they were

• I could read ten thousand words on how underrated OSU is in the public eye – but I’ll settle for a few at the start of this Athletic piece. A handful of AP voters had the Pokes in the top five!

It’s long past time to take notice of Oklahoma State.

In what has been a chaotic season, the Cowboys have a case to be in the tier behind Georgia. After a win at Texas, they have moved up to No. 5 in this week’s edition of The Athletic 130.

Simply put, Oklahoma State’s resume is there. Wins against Baylor (now ranked), at Texas and at Boise State are notable victories. Some wins have been close, but the defense is one of the best in the country, and the Cowboys are clearly getting better each week.

• ESPN broke down OSU’s eligibility as a CFP contender – and surprisingly observed the below about OSU’s toughest remaining game.

Toughest remaining game: Nov. 27 against Oklahoma. ESPN’s FPI actually projects Saturday’s game at Iowa State to be more difficult (18.5% chance to win), but while that road trip won’t be easy, the rival Sooners are the tougher out.
