Pro Day Roundup: Several Former Pokes Boosted Their Draft Stock
Oklahoma State held its Pro Day on Thursday with representatives from all 32 NFL teams on site to observe, record, scout and meet with any of the 17 former* Cowboys that participated in the event.
We had beat writer Luke Garza on hand reporting and getting video, and photographer Jackson Lavarnway was also on site to snap some great photos.
Let’s get to the highlights.
Washington has Ups
The Biletnikoff winner improved on all of his combine numbers with an official 4.43 40-yard dash and a ridiculous 39-inch vertical jump.
By the way, Mike & Mike â„¢ are going to miss seeing this inside the Sherman E. Smith Training Center, and inside BPS.

Washington talked about how the day went and what it was like to practice with his “brothers” one more time.

Chris Lacy continues to turn heads
The Cowboys’ No. 6 receiver in both catches and yards made the most of his surprise invite to the NFL Scouting Combine, pushing him onto the radar for several teams. Then on Thursday, he showed that those numbers in Indy were no fluke, besting his 40 time, his vertical jump and his broad jump numbers.
Tre Flowers Stands Pat on his Combine 40
The Cowboys’ leading 2017 tackler ran an impressive 4.45 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine and recently told PFB that he would focus on position drills during the pro day.
But Flowers did exceed his combine numbers with a 124-inch broad jump (combine was 122) and matched his 34.5-inch vertical from Indy.

Other Tidbits
Former Oklahoma State OC and noted bro of Mike Gundy put out the brand signal before heading back to Stillwater with this tweet.
Forget Pro Day I’m jacked to finally see this beautiful wizard’s cloak in person!!! pic.twitter.com/i1PPSd9Vxx

And he took some time to for a photo op with his former boss and maybe a potential future QB of his?
Coach Monken, was it a glorious in person as you thought it would be?

Super donor T. Boone Pickens made his first visit since Bedlam and chummed around with university president Burns Hargis, Mike Gundy and a couple of OSU record holders during their last action in Stillwater.

Met #okstate great receiver @james_james28 at @NFL Pro Day a bit ago. Thought about challenging him to a foot race. Then sanity prevailed. pic.twitter.com/78U2p2C8pJ

Rudolph seems to have helped himself during the pro day.

Maybe he further sold himself as the heir apparent for Big Ben.
Rudolph is on a lot of teams' radars and that includes the #Steelers. GM Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin chatting with Mason after Pro Day. #okstate pic.twitter.com/dzjb4uv69s

And of course, the gratuitous mullet shot.
