Scores
Softball: Texas 6, Cowgirls 5 (Game 2) and Texas 5, Cowgirls 0 (Game 1)
Baseball: Arkansas 7, Pokes 3
OSU Bullets
• The Cowgirls struck out in game one, losing 5-0 to the Longhorns – following it up with a tough one-run loss to knock the Cowgirls out of the World Series
• Cowboys saw an eighth inning-rally come up just short, incredibly fun Cowboy team comes up shy of the Super Regionals. This squad scored 55 runs over three games!
What a game. Roc bouncing another into the stands to narrow the gap and firing up the crowd, Mendham hand checking at first, lines outside O’Brate 30 mins before first pitch. Would be amazing to see this experience build more of a baseball culture in Stillwater.
Ultimately I think this long just took it out of the guys:
• Justin Blackmon is on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame
• OSU landed a commitment from a 2023 cornerback from Texas – the younger brother of a current defender. Here’s a 2023 class update:
• The awkwardness Chad Weiberg experiences working with OU, Texas leadership until 2025
• With Father’s Day coming up, here are your #dadgoals fellas:
Non-OSU Bullets
• Observing the fear of success
• “Best” weekend getaways in the US
You’re doing fine, Oklahoma.
