OSU Bullets
• The Cowgirls take on Arizona today as they fire up the Women’s College World Series tonight at 8:30pm – fun fact: Cowgirl pitcher Miranda Elish will face off against her younger sister:
• Couple of recruiting updates for Cowboy Football: a three-star receiver in small-town Texas got an offer from the Pokes (eyeball emoji) and the 2023 quarterback committed to the Pokes was invited to the Elite 11 finals
• Mike Boynton’s squad is headed back to Brooklyn this winter to take on Virginia Tech
• The No. 1 basketball player in Oklahoma for the 2023 class is considered a Cowboy lean at this point – the 6’9″ big man recently visited Stillwater but has offers from most everybody
• A pair of Cowgirls made All-American – one first and one second teamer from Kenny G.’s squad
• The team OSU lost to in the quarterfinals of NCAA Men’s Golf match play ended up winning it all yesterday (Texas)
• This projection has the Pokes in the Cheez-It Bowl playing Miami
• This would be a clutch add for the Pokes if it could work out – not listed as one of the teams pursuing but Mike Boynton has maintained a relationship with him:
• These highlights are so fun to watch. I think that as fans, it’s easy to get used to what a player does because they gradually “get there” sometimes. But looking back, wow. Blackmon was a monster.
Non-OSU Bullets
• Pretty crazy – the Washington Commanders are considering a stadium the size of BPS
• Three questions before the NBA Finals start today
