Three Thoughts
• As if there weren’t enough reasons to be excited to watch the “Eddie” doc (Monday, 8pm CST, ESPN), these thoughts from Scott Sutton about the unvarnished truth make it must-see.Â
Just spoke with Scott Sutton (@ScottSutton1970) about the @eddiesuttonfilm documentary airing Monday on @espn.
On @RexChapman's brutal honesty and why the family wasn't afraid to let the whole truth of Eddie's life be told in the doc. pic.twitter.com/Nsu9TQ8r9v

• Oklahoma’s attorney general, Mike Hunter (#GoPokes), went after the NCAA releasing an incredibly scathing review of their sanctions against Oklahoma State -> a therapeutic read for the Cowboy faithful.
Also, this on Hunter’s bio is something worth celebrating, too:
Hunter received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University, making him the state’s first attorney general to receive an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State. [OK.Gov]
• The Oregon vs. Oregon State game will no longer be called the “Civil War”– is “Bedlam” safe?Â
Here’s the definition and an association with it that I wasn’t aware of.
Definition of bedlam
1: a place, scene, or state of uproar and confusion
There was bedlam in the streets after the verdict was announced.
2 or Bedlam : an asylum for the mentally ill
3 obsolete : madman, lunatic [Merriam Webster]
Two Quotes
• If something happens to Gundy’s job, who’s filling in?
Every day that passes is better news for Gundy that he could keep his job as the Cowboy head football coach, which he’s held since January 2005.
If OSU does make a change, associate head coach and offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn is considered the likely replacement, at least on an interim basis. [NewsOK]
• A national college football writer has the Pokes in the College Football Playoff:
My Oklahoma State pick gets more tenuous by the day given Mike Gundy’s insensitivity and the resulting turmoil within the Oklahoma State locker room. If the team can stay together, and maybe even grow stronger through some of this adversity, the pieces are there for it to win the Big 12. [247 Sports]
One Question
• Without Mike Gundy, is Oklahoma State a top-25 football program?
Most Viewed of the Week
• No. 1: Gundy problems aren’t about abuse
• No. 2: Mike Holder’s $17m problem
• No. 3: 10 thoughts on the full NCAA report
• No. 4: What Cade turned down
• No. 5: Mike Boynton surprised by Anei’s decision
Non-OSU Bullets
• Why “mayday” is the international distress signal
• Solid faith-based read on how scripture is better than a mirror
