An exhaustive guide to all that was OSU’s losing effort against Texas Tech.

We produced a lot of #sadcontent over the weekend as OSU lost its fourth Big 12 game in the last six played inside Boone Pickens Stadium. Let’s take a look at some of it.

• I was not a fan of the uniform combination. You can get me into a black-gray-black or black-black-gray combo, but I’m officially out on black-gray-gray.

• Here are the full Mike Gundy quotes | Here they are with some of my commentary

• Marshall Scott made some not-so-fun points in his Saturday evening piece on Mike Gundy’s 7-7 Big 12 opener record.

Saturday’s 24-point difference was the worst OSU has had in a conference debut since Gundy’s first season, 2005, when Colorado beat the Cowboys 34-0. OSU’s last win in a Big 12 opener came in 2015 when Ben Grogan hit a game-winning 40-yard field goal to push the Cowboys past Texas, 30-27. [PFB]

• 10 Thoughts (and all of the comments) on the loss.

• I have looked at this photo of Kliff Kingsbury’s beard 100x and it has been funny every single time.

• There were a lot of stunning stats on Saturday but maybe none more so than the fact that OSU had 91 yards and 0 points in the second half.

• Kyle Cox had a great piece here where he dove into the offensive woes and took a peek at that 2014 season (NSFW).

• Kyle Boone on OSU’s ass-kicking (as Gundy put it in his postgame) was excellent, per usual. He questioned the decision to eschew Justice.

He only touched the ball 12 times, though. An alternative way of saying that: Justice Hill averaged just shy of a first down every time he touched the ball, but as a team, OSU rushed it only 24 times. In large part, you can credit a struggling offensive line for getting away from the run game. But when you’ve got a dude in Hill who proved he can overcome that shortcoming, you ride said dude, no? • Poll update: OSU drops out of AP | 6th in Coaches

• Marshall Scott handed out grades, and Tylan Wallace might be the only person who is passing the class right now.

• Carson went HAM on Sunday about the QB situation and OSU’s season to this point. I tried to draft off him as best I could. We had some fun with this one.
