OSU Bullets

• OSU added a couple of semi-surprise recruits yesterday on National Signing Day – a receiver from Texas high school and a junior college defensive lineman with some incredible hits on tape. Receiver Stephon Johnson had one heck of an offer list:

Johnson committed to Oregon last March over offers from USC, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Penn State, among others. He decommitted from the Ducks in January and opted for Stillwater Wednesday after visits to OSU and SMU last month.

• Shane Illingworth is headed out (Mountain) West

• Looking at how OSU used all sorts of things to innovatively recruit players ($$$) was really fun. It’s incredible how OSU got 6’8″, 330 pound Calvin Harvey on horseback

• 247 has the Pokes in their way-too-early top ten for 2022

Ranking the Cowboy Football Uniforms (part one and part two)

• Lots of preferred walk-ons trickling through from yesterday. If this guy isn’t the next Taylor Cornelius, I don’t know who is:

• Of course Cade will be in Cleveland for All-Star weekend – playing in the Rookies vs. Sophomores game

• Reflecting on this project – how wild that this can be done?

Non-OSU Bullets

• Finished this read on the “enneagram” yesterday – so much good stuff. 6 wing 7 here.
