Oklahoma State Offers Pitt Defensive Back Commit Jordan Young

The Cowboys are looking to flip a touted defensive back from an ACC school.

Jordan Young, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound DB out of Florida, announced an Oklahoma State offer on Monday. Young has been committed to Pitt since May after previously announcing offers to Florida State, Nebraska, UCF, Georgia Tech and others.

Young is the No. 941 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2027 class. That ranking tabs him as the No. 90 corner in the class and the No. 89 player from the state of Florida.

He plays at Lakeland High School in Florida. As a junior last season, he made 18 tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception and 16 pass breakups.

The Cowboys have a pair of defensive backs committed in their 2027 class in Bryson Brown (Broken Arrow) and Chayce Davis (Euless, Texas). But it seems as if OSU has been on the hunt for at least one other DB to add to the class with recent offers going out to Young, Cincinnati commit Noah Willis and junior college All-American Coaleon Johnson.
