• Two additions to the Cowboy Football program yesterday – the Pokes added a transfer running back from the SEC and a 2023 defensive lineman committed from a Texas powerhouse
• The Cowgirls fell in the first game of the series against Oklahoma
• This gem comparing OSU’s No. 3 ranked defense to Georgia’s No. 1 ranked defense was pretty wild from around the Draft:
For their efforts, the Bulldogs set an NFL Draft record (modern era) with 15 draft picks and half of those were on the defensive side of the ball, including five Bulldog defenders taken in the first round. Conversely, the Cowboys vaunted defense saw just three selected and the first one didn’t go until pick No. 188.

• Here are a couple of pretty solid rule change/fun proposals for changing college sports – a February tournament for college basketball and transfer portal windows
• OSU offered a couple of east Texas ball players for 2024
• That Texas sweep really has the Pokes climbing the rankings:
• Pretty cool that the Pokes will honor Rashaun and Co. this fall:
Non-OSU Bullets
• Staying home or leaving for the big city
• Cynicism is boring
• Finished this solid read on marriage, terrific thoughts drawn from years of observation
