One of the best defensive backs in the junior college ranks is considering making the move to Stillwater.

JUCO All-American corner Coaleon Johnson trimmed his list to 10 on Tuesday: Oklahoma State, Arizona, North Carolina, Florida State, Missouri, Kansas, Texas Tech, LSU, Ole Miss and Kansas State.

Johnson will announce his college decision on Nov. 30.

Listed at 6-foot-4, 180 pounds, Johnson plays at Iowa Western. In seven games this season, Johnson has 12 tackles and four interceptions.

Out of Chicago, Johnson played at Rochester Community and Technical College as a freshman last season, where in 10 games he intercepted six passes, recovered three fumbles and made 55 tackles on his journey to being named to the NJCAA All-American.

In 17 junior college games, Johnson has intercepted 10 passes, which is a ridiculous pace.

OSU was among the earliest in his final group to pursue Johnson, with him announcing his Oklahoma State offer on Sept. 9. He is set to graduate from Iowa Western in December to be on a Division-I campus for spring.

The Cowboys are carrying eight corners on their current roster, but of that group, Mo Horn and Trudell Berry — two guys on OSU’s two-deep — are redshirt seniors. OSU has two high school defensive backs committed in Bryson Brown (Broken Arrow) and Chayce Davis (Euless, Texas).
